If you haven’t already noticed, I have a very emotional connection with food and specific meals that I’ve had through my life. This sandwich is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, every time I’ve eaten it. And what makes it even better, is that there’s no way I can recreate it, no matter how hard I try! 😂 We love visiting family in Washington because (we love them) but also, (this sandwich). Olympia’s vegan eats are INCREDIBLE! Olympians are so lucky to live here with all these amazing options. We love you @olyparksidecafe! See you again tomorrow!
Yesterday’s Gado Gado bowls were such a hit!! I’m so glad you all loved them so much 💜 Gado Gado is an Indonesian dish, comprised of a mix of cooked and raw veggies, served with a peanut sauce. We make ours with sweet potato, green beans, bell pepper and crunchy bean sprouts.
These BLT salads turned out so pretty today!! We make our coconut “bacon” by mixing it with organic tamari, maple syrup, liquid smoke and garlic, then broiling for a few minutes to make it crispy. It’s the perfect topper for our crunchy organic greens mix. I hope you all enjoy! No meals this Friday and next Monday, but there are a lot of spots available for you to snag tomorrow and next week. Chunky Monkey Cookies!!! Mix together 1 1/2 c peanut butter, 1/2 c maple or agave, 1 t vanilla. Then add in 2 mashed up bananas and combine. Sprinkle in 1/2 t baking soda and 1/2 t baking powder, 3/4 c flour (I use @bobsredmill 1:1 gluten free flour for my gf friends). Once mixed, add in 1/2 c dairy free dark chocolate chips. Scoop into balls and pop them on a baking sheet, bake for 14 min on 350 degrees, and done! Enjoy, friends!!!!
